The “A Dance To Remember” studio offers three kinds of sessions designed to address every dance need our customers might have.  There are private lessons, group classes and practice parties presented to facilitate the best learning experience possible.

The private lessons are the most popular kind of instruction available to our students.  A private lesson is carefully structured with the goals of every customer in mind.  “One on one” lessons permit for thorough framework based upon personal abilities and student’s individual level of experience.  To insure continued dance growth, progress reports are implemented.  Scheduling is flexible to allow our busy customers a convenient time to attend their sessions.   We take a great pride in designing each private lesson to offer the best value in the DFW area.

The group classes are the most affordable learning sessions that we offer.   Group classes are scheduled monthly and are listed on our website.  There is usually one teacher and anywhere between 6-20 students attending any group class.  Group classes address a wide scope of knowledge, featuring different dances, a focus on patterns and variations, dance technique and styling, music interpretation, rhythm and timing as well as partnering abilities.  Participants are encouraged to rotate partners to better their leading and following skills, thus partners are not required.   Floor craft and social aspects of dancing are emphasized.  More intense, extended group classes are called workshops.

Practice parties are wonderful opportunities to practice what our students are learning during their lessons in a relaxed atmosphere and a low stress environment.  Monthly theme parties promote a fun aspect of social dancing.  The ADTR staff is available to assist our customers during practice sessions.  Please note: our guests are always welcome to attend their first party for free!

Occasionally, ADTR sponsors field trips to exciting dance venues away from the studio to encourage camaraderie and to build the confidence of our dancers.   We reserve a seating area for the ADTR students and enjoy dancing and conversations with one another.
